The New Balance 9060 'Driftwood' combines heritage with futuristic design.

It's a modernised version of a classic New Balance series, the 99X. The upper is made of pig suede and mesh, giving the shoe a luxurious yet athletic appearance. The retrofuturist aesthetic is enhanced by the shoe's chunky geometric sole unit. The Driftwood colorway has an off-white breathable mesh upper, grey reflective panels at the forefoot, and brown suede overlays across the toe, sides, and around the heel. The brown suede overlays favour a hairy suede material, giving the shoe a distinct appearance.
